2 x 1kg Duke Blend Speciality Coffee Beans
Earl grey bouquet, drizzled in bittersweet molasses. The lightest of body provides a perfect plain for the digestive biscuit finish.
Black Tea, Molasses, Granola
Roasted in London, the Duke Speciality Blend offers a medium-bodied and well balanced espresso thanks to a combination of 100% Arabica beans from two different regions.
Brazil’s Cerrado beans are known for its chocolatey, creamy and nutty sensorial profile cultivated at an altitude of 1,200 metres. Because Cerrado is a softer bean, it is believed that it shouldn't be roasted dark, although the darker roasts further enhance the nutty flavour and the body of the coffee. The beans are usually harvested between May and August.
Honduras’ coffee beans from the region of Fuerza La Labor on the other hand, are known for its herbal, caramel and chocolate tasting notes. A community-driven coffee, it is named after a play on words; ‘Fuerza la Labor’ loosely translates to ‘power to the people'. Grown at an altitude of 1,470 metres, it is harvested between December and March.
Why choose an artisan coffee?
Artisan coffees evolve from sustainable farming practices, with more care taken to ensure quality results. Excellent production values can be seen at every stage, including during selection, milling, drying and roasting. This results in a delicious and fresh coffee that's full of flavour, like the Duke Blend.
How to enjoy Duke Blend
There is no wrong or right way to make coffee as the best cup is often based on personal tastes. Don't be afraid to experiment with doses and grind size until you get the perfect cup whether with a traditional brewers or coffee machine!
