Coffee is grown on six independent estates; Doondu, Ruiru Mills and Gulmarg estates in upper Kiambu, Kamundu, Ting’ang’a and Kakindu estates in Lower Kiambu and Mweiga across the border in Nyeri. Altogether these cover a total of 775 Hectares (1,915 acres) under coffee.
